The York School is an autonomous coeducational school offers classes from Junior Kindergarten to grade 12, situated in centre of Toronto. The school was established in 1965 and they are the first school in Canada to be accredited to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme from junior kindergarten to grade 12.
The York School central mission is to prepare boys and girls to turn out to be employed and compassionate citizens of the world. They have formulated an advanced teaching custom and culture that trains their students to succeed at all levels of their life.
Teachers at The York School guide and engage students in learning the world around them by prompting them to pursue and to ask questions with their area. They develop students’ skills like cornerstones of academic excellence, research, time management and creative thinking. They also provide laptops for all students, a wireless environment, the latest learning software, online collaboration tools and smartboards.
